Weekend Fun!

Hello!
Over the last few weekends we have had some fun adventures! We have been to the park, to the duck pond and this weekend we are visiting family! Here are some pictures I have been able to capture...
Also, I'm having a Matilda Jane party in a few weeks, so I had to show off my girl in some of her new MJ clothes! So cute!
Last, while going through some pictures today, my grandma found one of me when I was close to Greer's age... She just couldn't stop talking about that picture and the similarities it shows that Greer and I have. We tried our best to get a side-by-side. Greer was a little confused, but I think it shows what Grandma was talking about! :)

Thinking about you...

It's Sunday. Greer is napping. Bobby and I are sitting on the couch, relaxing. And I'm thinking about our blog. I haven't been keeping up with posts like I would like to... I hope to get better at that. For now, I just wanted to post something to say, "hi, I'm thinking about you!"

Red, White and Boo!

Alright. I'm finally blogging. (It's from my iPhone but it still counts!)
Bobby is out of town so I've been cleaning, doing laundry, running errands. But I'm a little bored of that. I'm also running out of stuff to watch from my DVR. So while Greer was napping today I decided to try to do some of the things I've been meaning to do... Lol.
So I edited our pictures from the July 3rd festivities at the bandshell on campus! It was such a fun event! We were a little worried about how Greer would react to the fireworks but she surprised us by sitting and watching in awe. Not one little whimper came out of her! Check out the pics from the evening...

Greer starts daycare in less than a month! Woah! There's a whole list of things that we'll have to do before she starts, one thing we need is to bring her own crib sheet. Now if you know me, you know she's not just going to be sleeping on a plain white sheet. I have to fancy it up somehow. So I decided, what would be cuter {and easier} than a notebook paper sheet. So that's what I made! I'm not quite finished though. I'm going to appliqué her name at the top and probably add a few doodles! I'm excited for the final product but here's what I've got so far!

And last but definitely not least, because this is probably my favorite video of all time... We have been playing peek-a-boo with Greer for a couple weeks and today she decided that she wanted to play! Luckily I had my phone in my hand so I could catch this cuteness on camera!

Greer's New Sound

Yikes! Haven't posted in OVER a month!!! Sorry....
Not really posting now.  Although I have lots to share, it's been a super busy summer and I haven't barely had a breath to spare! I just wanted to share this adorable video I got of Greer and me! She is growing so fast and is becoming quite a funny little girl! Check it out!

Butterfly Rainforest

Hello again!
This weekend we had family visiting so we decided to take them to the Butterfly Rainforest at UF.  Little did we know, it would be so much fun for Greer! She was so interested in all the butterflies! She had her eye on all of them! Here are some pictures from our trip. Please excuse the blurriness (sp?).

Everyday Mantel

Hello again! I've been working on a few different "pin-spired" projects for my mantel. I usually change out the decorations each month according to the holidays or season but I'm finding less time to keep up with that these days ;) So I decided I needed to decorate the mantel with something that will always work! And now I'm ready for the big reveal! Hope you like it!

For Valentine's Day, Greer's Grammy wanted to get her ears pierced so that's what we did today! Here are some pics of the experience... The earrings we picked are light pink studs!

One month later...

HELLOooooo out there!
Boy has it been a busy month! We're sad it's taken this long to post but we've been busy with our new baby! :) The holidays have also kept us busy with crafting, shopping when we can find the time and wrapping presents! Hopefully jn the new year we'll be able to post more regularly. But until then we just wanted to say "We're still here!" (btw I'm posting now with the help of the awesome blogger app, straight from my iPhone!)
