Thanksgiving

Hi!
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We did here at the Wynns House!  This year I wanted to create a beautiful tablescape or centerpiece for our dinner table.  So I took inventory of all of the vases, containers, ribbon and flowers that I already had and then headed out to find a few things to finish the look.  I also had a specific color scheme in mind, just like in my November Mantel, I wanted to use purples, browns, oranges and greens.  I found a few glittery things in the Christmas section at Wal-Mart, some mini apples in the floral department, and a raffia type ribbon at Target! So with all of my supplies I got to work...
While I was busy working on getting everything ready for Thanksgiving, look what I found just lounging around...
  My Charlie Boy
and Lola hanging in the bathroom...
Anyway, back to the Thanksgiving Dinner Table!  I didn't have any chargers for our place settings and didn't want to use placemats with the tablecloth so instead I used the Cricut to make big place cards! Here are a few pics of how the table turned out.

Here are a few more pics from the day.

Viva NashVegas!

Hey y'all!
Last weekend we took a little road trip to Nashville to watch the Gators actually win a game...
We won't go there.
This trip is by far my most favorite Away Game trip EVER!
Also, I just discovered a super cool website for photo editing called picnik.com, so I had a little fun with some of the pics!  You can do things like; enhance colors, add clip art, add text, whiten teeth, change to 1960's photo, and much, much more! Here are my favorites from the weekend...
One thing that I had been looking forward to since we were last in Nashville!
(p.s. knife and fork are clip art) :)

Shopping Broadway...

I spotted a celeb! Danny Gokey from American Idol!

Heading out for some Friday Night Fun!!!

Of course, the boys had to wear their mustaches out...
(thanks picnik) :)

We ended up at Robert's Western World!

We had to buy T-shirts!!!
(LOVE the 1960s coloring!)

Saturday night we did some line dancing at the Wild Horse Saloon! So FUN!!!

We all had a blast and were glad to meet up in an awesome place like Nashville!

Here are the rest of the pics from the trip! Enjoy, we sure did!!!

Gobble, Gobble!

Happy Veteran's Day!
There was no school today and so I had a little time to catch up on some of my projects. We've been sUpEr busy lately so I was glad to be able to finish my November Mantel! A few weeks ago I was browsing some of my favorite blogs and stumbled upon this AWESOME wreath! I knew I wanted to try to make one myself. This season I've seen a lot of fall decorations using golds and browns mixed with purples and greens so I figured I'd stick with that color scheme. Here's how the mantel turned out...
I just love those colors!
Here's a close up of the wreath...

I want to add a little something to it, similar to the 31 on the Halloween Wreath in the link.  We'll see...
Anyway, thanks for looking :)

Hollywood Halloween

Hello again!
Recently, we threw our 4th Annual Halloween Party.  Usually, the party is at our house, but this year we joined forces with our friends, Fritz and Heidi, and hosted the party together at the Gainesville Garden Club.  The theme this year was Hollywood. Bobby and I dressed as Elvis and Audrey Hepburn.  Fritz and Heidi were Marilyn Monroe and Spok.  We had a lot more creative and funny costumes like, Alan from The Hangover and a Giesha, Tiger and Elin Woods, Magnum P.I., Jacob from Twilight, Justin Beiber, Betty White, Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman and lots more! Check out some of the pics taken by our Wonderful Photographer, George Wynns!

Here are a few of my favorite pics of Bobby and I :)

We also had a Costume Contest! Here are the Winners!!!

Scariest Costume went to Dog the Bounty Hunter's Wife.

Funniest Costume went to Graz as Akbar.

Sexiest Costume went to Melissa as Pretty Woman.

Best Costume went to Bobby as Elvis!!! Yeah!!!

Congrats to the King! Muah!

Now the planning for next year's party begins...
